COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Jury deliberations continue today in the trial of a Colorado Springs man accused of hitting four young children with his car in January.
61 year old Douglas Clubb allegedly drove into the pedestrians in a crosswalk near Chelton and Pikes Peak.
Clubb claims a crossing guard gave him a hand signal, which he interpreted as a motion to proceed through the intersection. The children have since recovered, despite serious injuries. Clubb is charged with child abuse and several traffic violations.
