COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A man accused of threatening hikers and bicyclists with a hatchet in the Mount Herman Area was in El Paso Court on Tuesday.
32-year old Daniel Nations is facing charges of felony menacing, endangerment and reckless endangerment.
His bond was increased to $20,000.
Nations was arrested last month in Teller County on weapons charges.
Cyclist Tim Watkins of Palmer Lake was found murdered in the same area where nations is accused of threatening people.
However, no connection was made between the Watkins’ murder and Nations.
