COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The father who left his three-month old daughter in a running vehicle that was eventually stolen has now been charged.
Springs Police arrested, served and released 36-year old Dustin Sergent-Davis on Tuesday for a child abuse charge which is a class-three misdemeanor.
On Monday, Davis’ infant was in the backseat of an unoccupied 2007 gray Dodge pick-up when someone stole it.
The child was later found and was not harmed.
The truck still hasn’t been recovered and the suspect remains on the run.
