PUEBLO, CO – Donthe Lucas is going to trial.
A Pueblo County judge determined Thursday there is enough evidence to proceed in the high-profile case.
Lucas is facing a murder charge in the death of his pregnant ex-girlfriend Kelsie Schelling, who went missing over five years ago.
Schelling was last seen heading to Pueblo to meet Lucas and her body has never been found.
Lucas will remain behind bars without bail.
Arraignment is set for late August.
