A phone survey conducted last week by political consultant Magellan Strategies found that out of 593 likely Republican voters, Colorado State Treasurer Walker Stapleton has a 13 point lead over his closest challenger.
The poll shows Stapleton with 36% support over business man Victor Mitchell with 23% in a field of five.
27% percent of people polled are still undecided.
The poll was taken over a two day period last week.
