The men accused of starting the destructive Chateau Wildfire appeared in Teller County Court on Monday.
23 year old David Renfrow, 19-year old Keegan Owens and an unidentified 17-year old male are all facing up to eight years in prison on first-degree arson charges.
The suspects allegedly started an illegal campfire and then left it unattended. The flames eventually grew to over 1,400 acres and destroyed eight homes.
They will be back in court in September for a preliminary hearing.
