The driver involved in a hit and run that left one person dead will soon be sentenced.

Eighteen-year-old UCCS student Zachary Schlagel was crossing Austin Bluffs and Stanton road with two other individuals when he was hit.
Schlagel died of blunt force trauma. Colorado Springs police received information about Garcia’s involvement and located him two days after the incident.
