Palmer Lake officials say they’ve been getting numerous calls concerning the town’s emergency Stage Two water restrictions.
Management says there’s a broken pump and motor in the well system, something the city relies on in the summer time because of increased water use.
Watering lawns and washing cars is prohibited under the mandatory restrictions and Palmer Lake restaurants can only serve water if a customer asks for it.
It could take up to two months for the issue to be resolved.
