The Colorado Springs Rescue Mission is hoping to expand this fall by adding another 150 beds to a building already on the property.
The downtown review board granted a conditional use permit and now the plans will go through the building permitting process.
The proposal includes the remodeling of a building on the facilities’ south side near Las Vegas and that the shelter currently housed in the proposed building be moved to another location on the property.
