Officials eradicated a record number of marijuana plants being grown on Colorado public land last year.
Nearly 81,000 plants were destroyed which is up from 45,000 in 2016.
A task force director says the reason for the growth is that it is a lot cheaper for people to conduct illegal grows on public land.
