A pistol that was used in the shooting death of El Paso County Detective Micah Flick is known to have been used in a previous crime.
The weapon, used by alleged car thief Manuel Zetina in February, had been involved in a felony menacing incident a year earlier.
The Gazette reports the gun was bought in Pueblo in 2008 and sold three years later to Ontony Hatcher.
How Zetina got the pistol from Hatcher is still unknown. Zetina was killed by officers after he killed flick and wounded three other people.
