At approximately 10:30 Monday night, a suspected drunk driver heading in the wrong direction on Academy Boulevard and Palmer Park, struck and killed a motorcyclist.
The drunk driver was charged and arrested for DUI with more charges pending.
The motorcyclist killed is the 38th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year.
