There were some minor injuries to local law enforcement members after an explosion near Gate 12 at Fort Carson, near Highway 115 on Tuesday.
The incident involved training by the Colorado Springs police department.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene and confirmed there was no criminal activity.
Six officers were involved and they suffered minor injuries. All 6 have been released from an area hospital.
Fort Carson officials say a device for combat training was detonated and the investigation is in its early stages.
