The 4th Annual Palmer Lake 0.5 k run was this Sunday, and despite the cold, nearly a thousand people participated.
Everyone who registered received a free beer or root beer.
The Awake Paler Lake Foundation holds the event to raise money to help with the cost of improvements to Palmer Lake and for the Con.
