Police Chief Retiring

The leader of the Colorado Springs Police Department is retiring.

Chief Pete Carey announced his final day on the force will be February 1st 2019.

Carey has served as the chief of CSPD for the past eight years and he’s been with the department since 1984. 

Mayor John Suthers praised Carey for his role in gaining a positive local and national reputation for Colorado Springs law enforcement.
