Diego Chacon Accepts Plea Deal

The death penalty is now off the table after a man accused of killing two local teenagers accepted a plea-deal.

20 year old Diego Chacon pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Monday and could spend up to 65-years in prison when he is sentenced next month.

The other alleged gunman, 22 year old Marco Garcia-Bravo, is still facing first-degree murder.

In March of 2017 Natalie Partida and Derek Greer, both Coronado High School students, were killed execution-style.

Several others were charged for their connection to the crime.
