A man is behind bars after a scary couple of moments in Colorado Springs.
A woman contacted CSPD Thursday morning and said her ex-husband was armed with an AK-47 and threatened to kill her and her daughter.
Officers tried to pull-over the suspect, identified as 31-year-old Stephen Lakey, at a parking lot on the southeast side of the city.
Lakey refused and reportedly showed the cops his gun in a threatening gesture.
Lakey then discarded his firearm out of his window and eventually gave himself up.
He’s been charged with multiple counts of felony menacing.
