One person was killed and a truck driver was injured early Thursday in a crash in Weld County between a car and a semi loaded with alcohol.
The blaze triggered a brush fire that threatened several homes.
It happened on Highway 14 near Raymer.
There’s no word on the identity of the victim.
Emergency workers took the male truck driver to Sterling Medical Center for treatment.
