The El Paso Sherrif’s Office announced this morning that the man injured during an officer involved shooting Wednesday night at the Mountain Ridge apartments is 32- year Lod Thomas McGeorge.
Mcgeorge alledgedly had a gun and was shot in the leg when he refused to drop his weapon.
The El Paso County Sherrif’s office is investigating the case.
The officer who fired his weapon is on paid administrative leave during the investigation.
Mcgeorge is charged with menacing, third degree assault and reckless endangerment.
He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
