James Neal, the Monument man accused of killing an 11-year-old girl in California 45-years ago, will be extradited back to California.
Neal waved his right to a hearing in an El Paso County Court Thursday morning.
Neal is suspected of killing Linda O’Keefe in Corona Del Mar on July 6th 1973.
All court proceedings will take place in California.
O’Keef was last seen talking to someone in a van before she was kidnapped and strangled to death.
DNA samples collected at the time of O’Keef’s murder were compared to samples in a genealogical website leading to Neal’s arrest.
