Cheyenne Mountain Zoo made a big announcement Tuesday morning.
There is a new addition to the zoo’s wolf pack. Mexican Wolf Luna gave birth to a new pup last Friday and mother and baby are doing fine.
Zoo officials say the little one “is squirmy and snuggly with Luna, and has already grown a lot since it was born Friday, which is a good sign.”
The wolf pack’s newest member was the only pup born to Luna and father Navarro, and joins 1-year-old siblings Bluestem, Hope, Shadow and Phoenix.
