The Air Force Academy announced that Brigadier General Kirstin Goodwin is relieved of her duties as the Commandant of Cadets, due to an investigation. For now, Colonel Scott Campbell is taking over the position.
Goodwin is a 1993 graduate of the academy and served in multiple roles over the years including pilot, political advisor, and senior military assistant to the Secretary of The Air Force.
The Academy has not released details about the nature of the investigation.
