Amazon Buys 19 Acres at The Colorado Springs Airport

A deal has been finalized for Amazon to buy 19 acres at the Colorado Springs airport to accommodate a new delivery center.

It could employ 600 people.

A nearly $6 million dollar warehouse will be used as Amazon’s delivery station when it is completed in mid-September.

The Gazette reports, Amazon leased 4 acres on Milton E. Proby Parkway in November and opened a 17,000-square-foot tent facility with 150 employees.
