The truck driver accused of causing the fiery April 25th crash on I-70 in Lakewood is now formally charged.
Twenty-three-year-old Rogel Aguilera-Mederos is facing multiple charges including four counts of vehicular homicide, six counts of first-degree assault, and 24 counts of attempted first-degree assault.
Aguilera-Mederos is currently held at the Jefferson county jail on a $400,000 bond.
Aguilera-Mederos told authorities the brakes on his truck failed. Four people were killed in the crash.
