While details were not made public, union workers for King Soopers and City Market have approved a new contract following the threat of a strike.
The United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 supported a three-year deal the union says will bring about solid wage increases and stable health care costs.
The union represents about 12,000 employees in Colorado.
