Saturday the town of Monument will celebrate their 140 year history.
The event takes place from 11am to 4 pm at Limbach Park, located on Front Street.
Festivities will include live music, a pie eating contest, and a walking tour, and family-friendly games.
Monument was first incorporated as a town on June 2, 1879 and their first town meeting was just over a month later.
