The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office revoked Kanda Calef’s concealed weapon permit about two weeks after she was arrested in April.
Calef is accused of flashing a gun at a US Marshall on I-25, and is expected to enter a plea today to felony menacing charges.
Her pistol was also seized as evidence. The El Paso County Sheriff’s office say the permit suspension will remain in effect until a final resolution has been reached.
Calef is a staunch gun-rights supporter, and lost her 2018 primary bid for the House 14 seat.
