An effort to recall Governor Jared Polis is coming into focus. Several groups are now coming together on one petition effort.
Polis has drawn criticism for supporting measures committing Colorado to a National Popular Vote, allowing guns to be seized from people deemed a threat, and reform of oil and gas regulations.
A new committee, called Dismiss polis, filed paperwork with the Secretary of State’s office Monday.
A petition drive could start as early as July 8th.
If approved, petitioners would then have 60 days to gather 631,000 valid signatures in order for the measure to move forward.
