2 Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan Have Been Identified

One the two soldiers killed in Afghanistan Tuesday was stationed at Fort Carson. 

32-year-old Micheal Riley was killed by small arms fire. 

The Taliban reportedly claimed credit for the attack.

 Riley was assigned to the 2nd battalion, 10th Special Forces Group. 

He was from Heilbronn, Germany. 

The other soldier killed in the attack was identified as 24-year-old James Johnston.

Johnston was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas and was assigned to the 79th Ordnance Battalion, 71st Ordnance Group.
