A long standoff ended Thursday night after Springs police found a man dead. It happened in a home on North Wasatch.
The incident began earlier in the afternoon after a car accident on East San Miguel.
Witnesses say a man crashed into a telephone pole there, ditched the car, grabbed bags out of the back and then took off. He entered a nearby home.
The homeowner was able to get out ok.
SWAT teams went inside at around 6pm Thursday night and found the man deceased.
No word on who he is or how he died.
