A man, who was killed while crossing I-25 Monday, has been identified as 36 year old Tony Barton of Security.
He and 3 other transients were running across the interstate near Fontanero when Barton was struck by a van.
A second, unrelated crash occurred shortly afterwards, and appears to be a result of the drivers’ divided attention.
No charges have been filed.
