Two men are behind bars after robbing a Colorado Springs 7-Eleven early Tuesday morning.
It happened around 1:30 at the Hancock Avenue store near Memorial Park. Authorities say 19-year-old Jacob Edwards and 18-year-old Jaron Jones brandished a handgun and took off with cash and cigarettes.
With the help of K-9 officers, police found one of the suspects in a tree and the other exiting Prospect Lake after a swim.
Jones is identified as the suspect in a robbery in May at a 7-Eleven on 8th Street.
