A man, who was fatally shot by Colorado Springs Police Tuesday, is identified as 38 year old Joshua Vigil.
He had a gun when confronted by officers at an apartment near Fountain and Chelton.
He was reportedly aggressive toward authorities.
The officers were uninjured and have been placed on routine administrative leave.
The incident remains under investigation.
