You’ll soon see traffic lights at some I-25 on ramps in Colorado Springs.
Starting Monday, crews will begin installing the signals at South Academy, and Bijou.
They will allow one car at a time to merge onto the interstate.
By next summer, 10 more ramp meters will be on I-25 entrances from North Nevada through downtown.
The lights are only activated when vehicles on I-25 are moving at 45 mph or below.
