We now know the name of a motorcyclist who died in a crash on North Academy Sunday.
Authorities say Christopher Larkin was heading south near Parkmoor Village when he was hit from behind by a speeding pickup truck driven by 34-year-old Shahin Taraghi.
Despite the collision, Taraghi continued dragging the motorcycle around 700 feet. Larkin was eventually ejected and fell on the roadway where he was hit by a white minivan; he died at the scene.
Taraghi is charged with vehicular homicide and DUI.
