Two fugitives from North Carolina were on the run with a with their infant child when they were caught in Fountain.
After receiving reports, authorities contacted the pair at the Fountain Inn.
Initially, they gave officers a fake name but eventually identified themselves as 27-year-old Cody Cardwell and 24-year-old Brie-Anna Schroll.
Both have a criminal history; the couple is accused of violating the sex offender registry.
In 2017 Cardwell was convicted of sexual battery against a child.
Schroll and Cardwell face multiple charges including criminal impersonation.
