El Paso County Fire Crews Get Help Against Wild Fires

El Paso County crews now have more help in the battle against wildfires.

The Sheriff’s Division of Wildland Fire Management has a new brush truck they say will make a major difference.

The Type 6 Brush Engine Truck will carry chainsaws, more than 350 gallons of water, medical emergency gear and much more.

It also seats five firefighters.

Officials said the old brush trucks were 12-years-old and were constantly needing repairs.
