Police and Postal Inspection Service Investigating USPS Mailbox Theft

Police and the Postal Inspection Service are trying to find the people who broke into several USPS drop-off mailboxes in Colorado Springs.

The thieves damaged the blue collection boxes outside of four post office locations over the Labor Day weekend and authorities have been looking for them ever since.

Mail was stolen at Antares, Templeton, Cimarron, and Briargate.

The drop-off mailboxes have since had to be replaced due to damage sustained during the incidents.
