A mother in Colorado Springs is pleading guilty to being high on meth when her two-year-old got his hands on a gun and shot himself.
33 year-old Melissa Adamson is facing a felony child abuse charge for the October 2018 death of Lokhi Bloom.
Adamson allegedly loaded the gun after receiving a threatening text from her drug dealer, and investigators think the boy mistook the gun for a squirt gun.
Adamson will be sentenced in December, and she faces 16 to 26 years in prison.
