A standoff in Cimarron Hills that prompted a handful of evacuations late Thursday night ended peacefully.
The incident on Pahokee Court, near Palmer Park and Peterson, began at around 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
The suspect surrendered to authorities just after midnight Friday morning.
We’re still working to learn more about what led up to the standoff and the suspect involved.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says it will release more information as it becomes available.
