Supporters of an independent investigation into the shooting death of De’von Bailey are again asking for help from the governor.
A letter was sent to Governor Polis over the weekend asking for an investigation as well as the establishment of a statewide civilian review panel.
Bailey was shot by Colorado Springs Police officers in August while running away from them.
Investigators have previously said that Bailey was reaching for a gun, though video of the shooting does not clearly show that.
Polis has previously said he supported an independent investigation into the bailey shooting.
