One man is dead after a barricade situation in Monument.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says officers shot and killed a suspect Sunday after the man apparently started shooting at vehicles and people with a BB or pellet gun.
The man’s name is not being released yet.
It’s being reported he was 20 years old and had a history of mental illness.
The Colorado Springs Police Department is handling the investigation into the shooting.
