We now know the name of the man found dead in front of a home in Canon City.
39-year old Richard Fay was found in front of a home on Spruce Court at about 9:25 Saturday night.
According to witnesses, a black or dark colored sedan with Louisiana license plates was seen in the area prior to the shot being heard.
Cañon City Police ask that if anyone sees a vehicle matching that description to call 911 immediately and to not make any contact with the vehicle or anyone in it.
