An El Paso County jury has found a man guilty of murder in the death of a three-year-old child.
David Lake was convicted of murder Tuesday in the 2017 death of Bella Ritch.
He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Prosecutors said Lake struck the three-year-old with a blunt object, opening a tear in her intestines that wound up killing her.
