Colorado Springs City Council Considering New Limits on Short Term Rentals

The Colorado Springs City Council is likely to set new limits on how many people can stay in a short term rental in the city.

The council will consider an ordinance today that would allow 2 people per bedroom in a short term rental.

2 additional people would be allowed to stay in the home over the new limit, so a 3 bedroom rental unit could have a maximum of eight people.

The current rules allow up to 16 people to stay within that same 3 bedroom rental unit.
