Officials say the Decker Fire, which was burning south of Salida, is now 100% contained.
Snowfall Wednesday night helped firefighters fully surround the blaze.
Stage 2 fire restrictions were lifted around 8am Thursday morning.
Fire officials say you will still see smoke coming from the fire over the next couple of weeks.
The blaze has consumed just under 9000 acres.
