Friday kicks off the start of holiday travel at airports all over the country.
Colorado Springs Airport is encouraging people to arrive early as they get set for holiday travel.
It’s recommended to arrive around 90 minutes early because ticket counters tend to be a little longer this time of year.
DIA is expecting around 2 million passengers through the gates between November 22nd and December 2nd.
That means people should get inside the terminal 2 hours before their departure to allow plenty of time to get through security.
