A former El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputy is serving 60 days in jail with work release availability for his role in a deadly crash on Highway 24.
Quinlan Linebaugh was sentenced Thursday after being found guilty on several charges at his trial in September.
Linebaugh was traveling west on Highway 24 in July of 2018 when he pulled into the eastbound lane, and into the path of an oncoming cement truck.
That truck skidded into the westbound lane, hitting a car and causing the death of an elderly couple.
The truck driver and a passenger in his vehicle were also injured.
