Colorado Springs is nearly $100,000 over budget when it comes to plowing roads.
The head of the public works department says there have been 28 snow events during the 2019 calendar year, which is more than the city expected and planned for.
However, the department will move money from other areas of its budget to cover the shortfall, rather than ask the city council for more money.
