A man is in custody after an early Friday morning standoff at the Days Inn on Rusina Road north of Garden of the Gods Road.
According to police, they received a call about a stolen vehicle in the parking lot and that led police to the suspect.
The man was wanted on several outstanding warrants and refused to surrender, barricading himself inside one of the hotel rooms.
SWAT was called in at about 6:00 am.
The man was arrested and taken to a local hospital to be checked for minor injuries.
